Available Help
“When you need help, is there someone whom you can count on, who is willing and able to meet your needs?”
This is a non-asterisked item, and as such only the interviewees response is used, not the impression of the accompanying person or the interviewer. If the Interviewee interprets the question to include unusual circumstances that would normally require much more help, the interviewer should redirect the interviewee to answer the question appropriately.
A response of Always receives a score of 0, a response of Sometimes receives a score of 1, and a response of Never receives a score of 2.
